Hi, I'm Jack. I'm involved with Knowle West Health Association. I mainly assist with the delivery of the Charity Challenge Project but also get involved in other projects. There a lot of exciting things going on in the area and I think this app...

On Tuesday 16th December Knowle West Health Association hosted the Friendship Club for a special Christmas Lunch at Filwood. The food was preprared by the KWHA Kitchen team with some help by staff and volunteers from the organisation. A lot of ingredients came from Springfield Allotments. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals and have a jolly time :) We had a combination of Xmas Music, to reggae, and the fine voice of Rhianan entertained everyone. Well done everyone from KWHA.

The last training session took place at Mojo Active where we took part in some team building activities and tackled the assualt course which proved very challenging! After a gruelling training session we watched a video on what the tough mudder was about. In the New Year the Include students will decide what challenge they want to do to fundraise for St Peters Hospice.

As part of the Charity Challenge training participants from Include School chose a Survival day out in the Mendips. We made a fire using a flint to light it, made a shelter, learnt to whitle, and even got to cook on the fire at the end of the day!
Edit
Last week we continued our training by going to Cheddar Gorge to 'Xtreme Caving.' Unfortunately I was unable to get evidence of us navigating ourselves through the caves but can assure you all that it was dark, confined, and challenging!
Edit
We headed over to Ashton Court Estate yesterday to go Mountain Biking as part of the Charity Challenge Training. We took the "Yer Tiz" route which proved testing in parts! A great first session enjoyed by all :)
